Welcome to California Enrichment Institute!
California Enrichment Institute (CEI) is a religious nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California. Formerly known as Los Angeles Development Church & Institute (LADC Institute), we have the legal authority to award honorary doctorate, master's, and professorship titles to deserving individuals in recognition of their dedication and service. Our mission is to honor compassion, excellence, service, and personal growth by recognizing those who continue to learn, develop, and contribute to their communities.
We believe that education is not confined to classrooms - it unfolds across a lifetime: at work, at home, in communities, and in places of worship. This lived learning is valuable and deserves recognition.
There is no need to attend classes, pass exams, or write a dissertation, as our degrees are honorary in nature and not academic. We simply ask for a small contribution to support our organization and cover the processing and issuance of each honorary degree.

Honorary Doctor of the Month
July Special Tribute: Honoring Independence, Service, and the 250th Birthday of the United States
For the month of July, California Enrichment Institute is proud to dedicate our Honorary Doctor of the Month feature to the enduring values of independence, service, leadership, sacrifice, and civic responsibility.
July holds special meaning as the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, marking two and a half centuries since the nation’s founding in 1776. This milestone offers an opportunity to reflect not only on America’s history, but also on the individuals whose dedication and service continue to shape communities across the country.
In the spirit of Independence Day, CEI proudly honors those who have served, those who are currently serving, and the families who support them. We recognize the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, first responders, public servants, and all individuals who devote themselves to protecting, supporting, and uplifting others.
This July, we also honor the everyday leaders whose contributions strengthen society in meaningful ways — educators, mentors, caregivers, ministers, volunteers, advocates, and community members who lead with purpose and compassion.
As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, CEI recognizes the importance of freedom, responsibility, perseverance, and service. These values remind us that meaningful leadership is not always defined by public recognition or formal titles, but often by quiet dedication, integrity, and the willingness to make a positive difference.
California Enrichment Institute proudly dedicates this month’s feature to all those whose lives reflect the spirit of service and the promise of a better future.
To all who have served, are serving, and continue to uplift others through courage, kindness, and purpose: we honor you.

I had been working as a counselor for many years, but lacked a formal degree to validate my skills. Earning an honorary doctorate in Counseling from California Enrichment Institute opened up new opportunities and allowed me to assist many more people.

I’m deeply grateful for your remarkable service. When I was younger, I never had the opportunity to pursue an academic degree, and for years I felt that absence limited me. Receiving this honorary doctorate has truly leveled the playing field, and now I can carry myself with greater confidence when I introduce myself as an honorary doctor. Thank you once again.
